PSEG Long Island recognized Energywise, Inc, a HVAC provider based in Ronkonkoma, with its Most Geothermal Projects Savings award at its Contractor Breakfast and Awards event held earlier this year.
Improvement projects completed by Energywise, Inc. and 17 other energy efficiency contractors helped customers receive a collective $50.5 million in rebates and nearly 100 million kilowatts per hour in annual energy savings. In 2024, Energywise Inc. completed 24 geothermal projects that provided rebates of more than $135,000.
“Congratulations and thank you to Energywise, Inc. and our other energy efficiency partners who helped our residential and commercial customers save more than $50 million last year through their improvement projects,” said Michael Voltz, director of energy efficiency and renewables at PSEG Long Island. “By focusing on energy savings and utilizing PSEG Long Island’s incentive programs, they are reducing the load on the electric grid and helping customers save energy and money.”
