Climate Deaths down 90% over the Last Century

By Steve Levy

We think you will find this article interesting from environmentalist Bjorn Lomborg, who noticed that the number of climate-related deaths is down 90% from what they were 100 years ago. https://nypost.com/2024/02/15/opinion/unspoken-truth-fewer-people-are-dying-of-climate-related-disasters-than-ever/

The stats fly in the face of the hysteria that is pumped out by the media and the extremist climate zealot lobby which is trying to force us to spend trillions of dollars and crater our economy based on a lie that people are dying in record numbers due to climate change.

This is not to suggest that climate change is not real. We believe it is. It is serious and should not be ignored. However, we should stop with the scare tactics that try to make us so worried about dying that we will cede over to greedy politicians unlimited funding and power over our lives under the false premise that they will be saving us from sure doom.

They have been doubling our electric costs, banning our gas stoves, and preventing us from having turbine-powered cars. And now they’re trying to control our thermostats.

They scare our kids by claiming that the polar bears are becoming extinct through global warming, even though their numbers have increased over the last 20 years. They tell us how we’re going to die from hurricanes when the number of deaths are down dramatically due to advanced technology, warning systems, and greater architectural safeguards.

They tell us that people are dying because of higher temperatures when, in fact, far more people die from cold temperatures around the world than from the heat.

The answer is better technological innovation. It’s not to scare the life out of us that we will make these green energy cottage industries richer and politicians more powerful to control our lives.
