Fifty-four New York City Democrats signed a letter to President Biden to do something about the migrant crisis. Unfortunately, all they did was ask for more money and to spread the migrants out to other parts of the country.
Too bad these Democrats couldn’t find the courage or the common sense to ask their leader to simply seal the border and to bring back the policies of his predecessor that required those seeking asylum to do so outside the country.
This is all about the Democrats wanting it both ways. They don’t want to have to foot the bill for all these illegal immigrants whom they’ve invited to flood their streets, but, at the same time, they don’t want to go against their party leadership, which has become an advocacy movement for open borders.
