Three people were shot, one fatally, in Hempstead.
On November 22 at 10:50 p.m., Nassau County officers responded to a shot spotter notification in the vicinity of Willow Avenue and Kennedy Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found three victims who sustained gunshot wounds. One female victim, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene by a Northwell paramedic. Two male victims, both 20 years of age, were transported to a nearby hospital, where they are currently listed in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
