A Queens man has been arrested for child endangerment after he allegedly left his child unattended inside his vehicle.
On November 3 at 10 p.m., Nassau County officers responded to the Walmart parking lot located at 77 Green Acres Road in Valley Stream for a call of a child left unattended in a vehicle. An investigation by the officers determined that Triston Evans, 30, left his 3-year-old daughter unattended. He was placed under arrest without incident. The child was unharmed and released to a family member.
Police charged Evans with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was arraigned on November 4 at First District Court in Hempstead.
