A Hewlett man is wanted for stealing money from another man after leaving a bank.
A 62-year-old male victim withdrew $2,500 from a TD Bank located at 1 Harris Avenue and entered his car. An unknown male subject knocked on the car window and informed him that he dropped money in the parking lot. The male victim exited his car when a second unknown subject entered his car and took the money he had just withdrawn from the bank. Both subjects fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The subject is described as a Hispanic male, 5’6’’ tall, thin build, last seen wearing a white button-down shirt with a straw hat. The investigation is ongoing
