The Long Island Association (LIA) recently elected three new members to its Board of Directors before holding its annual Poolside Reception, which took place on October 1 at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury. Two individuals represent companies new to the LIA, and one is from a current Board company.
The newly elected members include:
- Phil Boyle, the president and CEO of Suffolk Regional OTB and Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel, which is new to the LIA. Jake’s 58 is Long Island’s elite casino hotel, offering 1,000 video and electronic gaming machines and hotel accommodations, and is currently undergoing a $210 million expansion. “It is truly a privilege to be named as a member of the Long Island Association’s Board of Directors, representing Suffolk OTB and Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel,” Boyle said. “As a premier entertainment destination and public benefit corporation, we are proud to join the LIA in its goals of promoting Long Island’s business community and ensuring our economic vitality.”
