Credits Received through PSEG’s Vacant Space Revival Program

L.I. Salty Kids Cove, a children’s play place that opened earlier this year in Patchogue, is receiving nearly $2,000 in bill credits from PSEG Long Island’s Vacant Space Revival program. The financial incentive, which can total up to $10,000, is awarded to business owners who move into commercial space that had been unoccupied for more than a year. The discounts are provided in a gradual format over the new business’s first year, which is often the most fiscally challenging.

“PSEG Long Island created this program to support new business owners like Patty realize their innovative dreams,” said Veronica Isaac, manager of customer and community partnerships for PSEG Long Island. “Small businesses are the backbone of Long Island’s economy. They encourage entrepreneurship, create jobs and enhance local commerce. We congratulate Patty for opening this lovely space for kids.”

“We are sincerely grateful to PSEG Long Island for the generous bill credits that have significantly contributed to the success of our business, said L.I. Salty Kids Cove owner Patty Gullo. “These credits have enabled us to invest in our play space and create a truly fun, inclusive, and imaginative learning environment for children. We are truly grateful for the support.”

L.I. Salty Kids Cove is an indoor activity center that provides imaginative play for children up to 6 years old with a sensory playroom, imaginative playhouses, gym and other amenities. A complimentary coffee bar, dedicated workspace and Wi-Fi are offered to adult caregivers, allowing them to work while the children play.

Since 2018, PSEG Long Island has provided more than $350,000 to hundreds of new businesses under the Vacant Space Revival program.
