Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed a motorcyclist in Manorville.
On April 4, Daniel Verbeke was operating a 2026 Yamaha on Wading River Road, just south of Maple Lane, when the motorcycle left the roadway and struck a boulder and mailbox at 1:56 p.m.
Verbeke, 21, of Babylon, was transported to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk in Patchogue, where he was pronounced dead.
The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to call Seventh Squad detectives at 631-852-8752.
