Fast cash reward of up to $5,000 offered for arrest
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating a motorist who intentionally struck a Suffolk County Police officer in Lindenhurst earlier this month.
During a confidential police investigation, Christian Castillo used his vehicle to intentionally strike police vehicles and a First Precinct Anti-Crime Unit Police officer who was standing outside his police car on March 9 at 7:30 p.m. The officer was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Castillo, 20, is Hispanic, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He is known to frequent Bay Shore and Brentwood.
A Fast Cash Reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest. The reward will be issued within seven days of an arrest.
