Kennedy May Hurt Trump More

So far, I have more Republican than Democratic friends saying they’re voting for Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. It goes against conventional wisdom that Kennedy will hurt Biden more. Biden will get severely hurt if Cornel West or Jill Stein get on the ballot in various states.

At least ten of my Democratic friends who were frustrated with Biden have said they would’ve voted for Nikki Haley, but won’t vote for Trump. It’s an unscientific poll, but interesting.

Anti-Israel Media Bias

A headline by the Associated Press shows how anti-Israel bias is now permeating the media. The headline blared, “Pressure builds on Israel to reach cease-fire with Hamas.” https://paper.newsday.com/html5/reader/production/default.aspx?edid=37a2daa3-eb2e-45ff-bf01-e2f6fdeed094&pnum=8

Israel has already agreed to numerous cease-fires, all of which rejected by Hamas. so why is it Israel — the victim of an October 7 genocide — being the party upon whom pressure is being placed? Shouldn’t it be placed on the vicious terrorists who committed the atrocities and continue to hold both Israeli and  American hostages?

A second headline from the AP as it appeared in Newsday stated, “Anti-war protesters digging in.” https://paper.newsday.com/html5/reader/production/default.aspx?edid=37a2daa3-eb2e-45ff-bf01-e2f6fdeed094&pnum=15

Anti-war? How about “Pro-Hamas”? If they were anti-war, they would be denouncing the terrorists for having slaughtered babies and raped women on October 7.

Don’t Suspend Violent Campus Radicals. Expel Them!

Here is a very easy solution to the radicals engaging in violent behavior at our campuses. Feel free to protest at properly designated locations on campus if you desire. But if you harass other students, block their movement, or take over buildings, you should be expelled. Not suspended, but expelled.

State Leaders Look to Protect Kids from the Internet As They Encourage Them to Read Porn.

If you want to explain the concept of irony to a fifth grader, have them look at Governor Hochul and Attorney General Tish James seeking to protect children from the Internet. These are the same players who are pushing insidious, perverted, pornographic books to children in our school libraries. You can’t have it both ways.

Rigging the Election

The Biden administration just authorized our tax dollars to go to college students who register other college students on campus. It sounds illegal. Can you imagine the uproar if church goers were paid by the federal government to register other church members? Or how about gun owners paid to register other lovers of arms?

Biggest Political Suicide of the Decade

I cannot think of a bigger unforced error perpetrated by any public official than the memoir of South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, who admitted to killing her puppy because it was aggressive and didn’t hunt well.

I realize city and suburban folks don’t have the same understanding of the harshness of farm life. There is often a need to put down an animal. But to admit to killing a puppy because you didn’t train it properly is abhorrent. Noem has been spending a fortune in taxpayer dollars promoting herself throughout the nation with her corny commercials, hoping to land a spot as Trump’s VP.

With one incredibly stupid memoir, those wishes are now up in smoke.

Beyond the killing of the puppy being extraordinarily cruel, it shows a remarkable lack of judgment that she would promote this in her book.

It’s not true that any press is good press. Kristi Noem will find out the hard way when she’s bypassed for VP. If she had a shot, it’s gone now.
