We said it many times before and now there’s a study to prove it. Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs are dangerous and work to tear us apart rather than bring us together.
A new study from the Network Contagion Research Institute shows that people who are indoctrinated with racially charged DEI programs promoted by radical leftists such as Robin DiAngelo and Ibram X. Kendi were significantly more likely to claim that discrimination and oppression were occurring in various circumstances, even though there was absolutely no such proof.
The research was conducted in a straightforward, objective way, whereby a control group was given a statement and asked to comment on it. Another group was asked to read the works of DEI proponents DiAngelo and Kendi issued their take on the same statement. Those who had read the DEI books were significantly more likely to claim that the person did not get the job because of some type of prejudice by the reviewer, who was supposedly acting with discriminatory intent.
However, there was nothing within the original statement to suggest that. It was just a straightforward set of facts wherein a person of a certain name was denied a job by the supervisor of a different specific name. There was no suggestion of any type of discrimination as being the reason for the denial of the job. The denial could’ve been for a host of factors.
But isn’t it interesting that those who took the DEI courses concluded in their own minds, without any evidence, that there must have been some kind of discrimination involved?
This is no surprise to us since we’ve been saying for years that these programs will only succeed in tribalizing us into conflicting groups based upon race, gender and sexual orientation.
The dangers of DEI were already borne out by surveys which showed that, prior to the implementation of these divisive, indoctrinating courses, the American public felt that race relations were fairly good.
However, once these insidious programs were injected into our culture, racial hostilities jumped dramatically. We already knew that DEI was problematic but now we have a study that proves it. If there wasn’t enough reason to dump them into the dustbin of history, perhaps these studies will give it an extra boost.
