The Center for Cost Effective Government will host a meeting on ways to get rid of wasteful spending in the federal government. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 15 at Mannino’s Italian Restaurant, located at 1575 Montauk Highway in Oakdale, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The topic will be on cutting government costs through the creation of DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency).

There will be a presentation by Nick Giordano, a political science professor at Suffolk County Community College and a host of the P.A.S. Report Podcast, one of the top conservative podcasts in the industry. According to his profile, he has appeared as a guest on national television and radio shows and podcasts. His work has also been published in numerous outlets, including Campus Reform, The New York Post, The Federalist, The Washington Times, The Epoch Times and others.

Prior to becoming a full-time professor, Giordano served with the New York State Office of Emergency Management within the Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services as a catastrophic planning lead.
