Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine attended a kickoff for New York State Assemblyman Joe DeStefano’s (R-Medford) re-election campaign at the popular restaurant and bar, Rudi’s Bar & Grill in Patchogue, on January 25.
The event was well attended, with local elected officials, dignitaries and residents attending to support DeStefano’s re-election bid.
A 28-year member of the Medford Fire Department and a 39-year member of the Medford Volunteer Ambulance Corps, DeStefano was first elected to the state Assembly in 2018, according to his biography. He is currently seeking a fourth term in the Assembly.
