Surrounded by local elected officials and a packed room of Republican committee members at the American Legion in Huntington, Thomas McNally was unanimously re-elected as Chairman of the Huntington Town Republican Committee, reaffirming his leadership at a pivotal moment for the party.

McNally has served as Chairman of the Huntington Republican Committee since 2020. Under his tenure, the Committee has expanded its grassroots strength, built a highly effective volunteer network, and ensured Republican victories at all levels of town government.  Republicans now hold seven out of the town’s eight elected seats, and for the first time since the 1950s, Huntington has an all-Republican Town Board.

Huntington is home to over 45,000 registered Republican voters, a testament to the strength of the party’s foundation and outreach in the community.

After the election, he expressed his deep gratitude for the committee’s continued trust.

“We win these elections with the hard grassroots work and dedication of our committee members and volunteers who are out getting signatures on petitions and knocking on doors to spread the word to the voters of Huntington,” McNally said. “I am honored to be re-elected and I look forward to working with the committee to ensure victory for our Republican candidates this November.”

This year, despite facing aggressive campaigns by outside special interest groups and Democrat-aligned forces, Mr. McNally, his leadership team, and the grassroots committee members not only held the line — they crushed it. The Republican ticket, featuring Supervisor Ed Smyth, Dr. Dave Bennardo, and Greg Grizopoulos, secured a resounding 61% of the vote, delivering a clear mandate from Huntington voters who chose leadership, integrity, and results.

Suffolk County Republican Chairman Jesse Garcia congratulated Chairman McNally on his re-election:

“Congratulations to Chairman McNally and his entire team on this well-deserved re-election,” Garcia said. “Your unwavering commitment and bold leadership are shaping a stronger, more united future for Huntington. The momentum is real. The results speak for themselves. Let’s keep Huntington red!”
