The Town of Brookhaven’s Youth Bureau and members of the Youth Advisory Board held a food drive at Wild by Nature at 198 Route 25A in East Setauket with Councilmember Jonathan Kornreich and Stop & Shop at 2350 North Ocean Avenue in Farmingville.

The food drive was held to help residents who are food insecure in Brookhaven. Approximately 50 grocery bags of non-perishable food were donated and distributed to churches and food pantries in Brookhaven Town.

The INTERFACE program is a partnership between individuals, good corporate neighbors and the Town of Brookhaven in a common effort to provide help to Brookhaven’s less fortunate residents. It provides goods and services to those in need and addresses local social issues. There are approximately 150 corporations, not-for-profit agencies and community and fraternal organizations that make up INTERFACE.
