A woman has died in a house fire in North Massapequa.
On February 27 at 1:20 p.m., a 911 call was received for a house fire located at 150 N Hawthorne Street. The North Massapequa Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. A 64-year-old female was removed from the residence and transported to a local area hospital where she was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
Homicide Detectives, Arson/Bomb Squad and the Fire Marshal responded to the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
