Woman Critically Injured in Bay Shore House Fire

A woman was critically injured in a fire that occurred in Bay Shore. 

On March 10, at approximately 12:34 p.m., Suffolk County officers arrived at the scene of a reported fire at 106 North 1st Avenue. Susanah Morris-Sweeting, 65, a resident of the house, was found inside the building by members of the Bay Shore Fire Department.

Morris-Sweeting was brought to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore and was then transferred to Stony Brook University Hospital to be treated for severe injuries.
