Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the apparent drowning of a woman who was pulled from the Connetquot River in Oakdale this morning.
On August 4, an employee of the Oakdale Yacht Club, located at 520 Shore Drive, called 911 after observing a woman in the Connetquot River at 8:07 a.m. The woman, Catherine Andreau, was pulled from the water and pronounced dead at the scene.
