
A Jet Ski rider was rescued after being stuck on the marsh in Seaford.
On July 6 at 9 p.m., Nassau County Aviation Helicopter 6 and Nassau County Marine 6 responded near the vicinity of the Treasure Island Marina for a 30-year-old man who contacted police for assistance after getting stuck on the marsh at Seamans Island with his Jet Ski. Helicopter 6 was able to locate the stranded rider in the marsh and reported his position to the Wantagh Fire Department, who assisted the man in safely transporting him to
shore.
No injuries were reported.
