Town Hosts Annual Senior Picnic at Historic Longwood Estate

Two-day Event Attracts Nearly 1,800 Residents

Brookhaven Town Supervisor Supervisor Ed Romaine and local elected officials attended the Town of Brookhaven’s Annual Senior Picnic at historic Longwood Estate in Ridge. The two-day event, which was held on September 14-15 and hosted by the Town’s Senior Division, was enjoyed by nearly 1,800 residents, including those from more than twenty community senior groups. Guests were treated to perfect late summer weather as they enjoyed food, music, dancing, good company with friends and more.
