On June 26, Nassau County Legislators Scott M. Davis (D-Rockville Centre), Olena Nicks (D-Uniondale) and Seth I. Koslow (D-Merrick) attended a road renaming ceremony in Bethpage honoring former Nassau County Police Department Chief of Patrol Kevin Canavan, who lost his life to 9/11-related illnesses.
