Brookhaven Town Supervisor Dan Panico and several members of the Town Council celebrated Hanukkah at the annual Community Menorah Lighting ceremony at Town Hall. The well-attended event was led by Rabbi Mendy Goldberg of the Lubavitch of the East End in Coram.
Guests enjoyed traditional Hanukkah songs and stories, entertainment, and refreshments, including hot latkes and donuts. This is an annual event observed at Town Hall by many key members of Brookhaven’s Jewish community.
