Police Respond to House Fire in Uniondale

A house fire broke out in Uniondale in the early afternoon.

On January 3 at 12:29 p.m., Nassau County First Precinct officers responded to a house fire on Uniondale Avenue. Upon arrival, they observed the second level of the home engulfed in flames. The Uniondale Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the flames. The fire caused extensive damage.

The Nassau County Fire Marshal, Nassau County Arson Bomb Squad and Red Cross responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
