Brookhaven Town Supervisor Dan Panico and the Town Board came together at Brookhaven Town Hall on March 21 for the 38th Annual Women’s Recognition Night. The evening, sponsored by the Town’s Office of Women’s Services and the Department of General Services, celebrated the extraordinary achievements of women who have made remarkable contributions in various sectors within the community.
The Brookhaven Women’s Advisory Board meticulously reviewed nominations, selecting winners based on their comprehensive resumes and compelling letters of recommendation. The accolades spanned across diverse categories, including business, communications and media, community service, education, government, medicine, law enforcement, health care, military, religion, science, and sports. Notably, the event also featured special commendations from Panico and fellow council members, honoring individuals for outstanding contributions within their districts.
