One person is dead and another has been hospitalized after a concrete wall collapsed on them while demolishing their house.
On July 1 at 11:43 a.m., Manorhaven officers responded to 56 Kirkwood Road for two workers who suffered injuries during the demolition of the home when a concrete wall collapsed on the two men.
A 56-year-old male victim was transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. The second victim, a 20-year-old male, suffered a cardiac arrest while being transported to the hospital. He was pronounced dead by hospital staff.
The investigation is ongoing.
