Occupants in Valley Stream Home Exposed to Carbon Monoxide

Nassau County police responded to a Valley Stream home where the occupants were exposed to carbon monoxide.

According to police, Nassau County Police Department Medics and Police Officers responded to the home on March 8 at 8:50 p.m. for an unresponsive female. Upon arrival, two unresponsive females, ages 22 and 47, were located and transported to an area hospital for treatment. Police Department Medics were alerted to elevated carbon monoxide levels inside the residence by their carbon monoxide detectors.

The Valley Stream Fire Department also responded to the scene.

Five additional occupants, ages 2, 10, 22, 28 and 30, were transported to an area hospital for carbon monoxide exposure.
