
Suffolk County officers are investigating the events surrounding a man whose body was found in Central Islip.
On February 18, at about 12:30 p.m., a man was found dead inside a tent-like enclosure on the south side of Suffolk Avenue near Carleton Avenue. The initial investigation and exam did not confirm the cause of death.
The cause of death for the man, who officers have not identified, will be determined by an autopsy led by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office.
