The Long Island Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF) has partnered with Long Island Cares for a food drive to help fight hunger on Long Island.
Now through February 29, visitors to LIMEHOF who donate nonperishable food items will get a half-price discount for their guest to the Long Island Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame and a free Billy Joel poster.
Long Island Cares – The Harry Chapin Food Bank has been on a mission to feed Long Island’s food insecure and put an end to the root causes of hunger since its founding by the late Harry Chapin in 1980. In 2022, the organization distributed 14 million pounds of food – the equivalent of 11.5 million meals.
