Fire Damages Levittown Home, Firefighters Injured

A house fire in Levittown left several firefighters with minor injuries and caused significant damage to the home.

On July 29 at approximately 7:50 p.m., officers and firefighters responded to a blaze at a residence on Hollyhock Road. Crews from the Levittown Fire Department, along with assistance from nearby departments, worked to bring the flames under control.

Multiple firefighters were treated on scene for minor injuries. The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad responded to investigate. Authorities have determined the fire is not suspicious.
