A fire broke out at a house in North Lawrence.
On December 20 at 1:59 p.m., Nassau County police officers from the Fourth Precinct responded to a Spring Street residence for a fire. The Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department and neighboring Fire Departments responded to extinguish the flames. Two residents and one firefighter were transported to a local area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad responded to the scene. The Red Cross responded to assist the displaced residents.
The fire does not appear to be suspicious at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
