Police and fire departments responded to a fire that occurred in East Hills.
On May 10 at 8:41 p.m., officers responded to a residential home located on Overlook Terrace. Upon arrival, they observed smoke and fire from the attic. The Roslyn Fire Department, along with the assistance from the Roslyn Highlands Fire Department, responded to extinguish the fire. The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad also responded to the scene.
No injuries were reported. The fire was not deemed to be suspicious.
