all hostages that remain in captivity

On March 16, Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D-Plainview) joined around 100 people in attending the service to honor the memory of the two children, Ariel and Kfir Bibas, and demand a release of all the hostages that remain in captivity. Many members of the community wore Batman t-shirts, created by Kolton, as a tribute to 4-year-old Ariel Bibas’ love for the DC superhero.

“Ariel and Kfir Bibas should have had their whole lives ahead of them – but the barbaric actions of Hamas terrorists snatched all those opportunities away from them and their families in the blink of an eye,” Drucker said.

“The gathering was another poignant reminder of the murder of Omer Neutra, a Plainview native who was senselessly killed in the same brutal attack,” Drucker continued. “We stand united in solidarity with all of their loved ones and we remain unwavering in our demand for the safe return of the remaining hostages and our commitment to honoring the memories of all who were lost. I am thankful to Rabbi Neil Schuman, Jennifer Kolton and Russ Blatt for their beautiful  contributions to this heartfelt event.”
