Central Islip Man Arrested for Driving with 50 License Suspensions

Suffolk County Police have arrested a Central Islip man for driving with 50 license suspensions.

On July 1, Christian Mendoza, 24 was stopped after he was observed failing to signal before changing lanes on 5th Avenue near Drexel Drive at approximately 2:27 p.m. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Mendoza was driving his 2008 Nissan Altima with 50 license suspensions on seven dates. The 2008 Altima was later impounded.

Mendoza was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
