A fire broke out in a building in Greenvale. It started on the roof.
According to Nassau County detectives from the Arson Bomb Squad, officers responded to a commercial building fire located at 49 Glen Cove Road on March 22 at 1:50 a.m. Upon arrival, officers observed the roof of the building on fire. The Glenwood, Roslyn and Syosset Fire Departments responded and extinguished the fire. The building was unoccupied at the time.
The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad Detectives responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
