The Albertson Fire Company held a special ceremony on April 6 to honor two of its distinguished leaders for their exceptional service to the community. Evan Slattery, the outgoing president, and Peter Brala, a past president celebrated for his 50 years of dedicated service, were recognized for their contributions and leadership within the fire service.
The event was attended by notable figures including Nassau County Chief Fire Marshal Michael Uttaro, Nassau County Legislator Samantha A. Goetz, and Nassau County Legislator Scott Strauss. Members past and present from the fire service joined the legislators in expressing their gratitude and celebrating the achievements of both honorees.
