Brookhaven Town Councilwoman Jane Bonner honored Rocky Point School District bus driver Theresa Fogal at a ceremony at Town Hall on February 13. Fogal was recognized for keeping the children inside the bus safe during a recent snowstorm.
A video showed Fogal bringing the bus down the steep, icy hill and keeping it upright and moving ahead. No one was hurt, and all the children returned home safely.
