Nassau County Legislators Debra Mulé (D-Freeport) and Seth I. Koslow (D-Merrick) welcomed Superintendent Fia Davis to the helm of Freeport Public Schools on September 19. She succeeds Dr. Kishore
Kuncham, who retired earlier this summer after 30 years of service to the school district.
“As a former PTA and school board member whose children thrived in Freeport schools, I’m excited about the future and looking forward to working together to strengthen the collaborative bonds between our schools and local government,” Mulé said. “I congratulate Ms. Davis on becoming the next leader of our school community and am excited to begin working with her to build a brighter future for our students and community!”
