Suffolk County Police arrested a man for allegedly stabbing and seriously injuring another man in Babylon.
On August 29, two men had a verbal altercation inside a house located on Park Avenue near Siegel Avenue, at approximately 11:57 p.m. During the altercation, one of the men, Robert Bozowski, pulled a knife and allegdly stabbed the other in the neck before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
The stabbing victim was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
Bozowski, 35, of Yonkers, was located in his vehicle. He was pulled over on the westbound Southern State Parkway, west of Belmont Avenue, and arrested on August 30 at 12:29 a.m.. He was charged with Assault in the First Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree.
He was held overnight at the Third Precinct and scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on August 30.
