Nassau County police officers from the Third Squad reported a burglary that happened at a gas station in Westbury.
On January 6 at 4:33 a.m., Third Precinct officers responded to a burglary that took place at Speedway Gas Station, located at 525 Merrick Avenue. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown male broke the front door with a crowbar and entered the store. Further investigation revealed that an unknown amount of cash was removed from a register in the store. The subject fled the scene on foot.
The investigation is ongoing.
