Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in West Babylon this afternoon.
A man entered Flagstar Bank, located at 653 Montauk Highway, on December 8 at approximately 3:45 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the suspect fled eastbound on foot to a waiting sedan.
The suspect is described as white, in his mid-40s, with a thin build. He is bald with graying facial hair and was wearing a dark-colored jacket.
