Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the stabbing death of a man that occurred during a party in Huntington Station.
On October 27, Second Precinct officers responded to 58 1⁄2 Lowndes Ave. at approximately 2 a.m. after a 911 caller reported a stabbing at the location. When officers arrived, they found two men who were both stabbed.
Justino Alfaro-Avila, 29, of Huntington Station, was transported to Huntington Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A 39-year-old man was treated at a local hospital and released.
