Nassau County police from the Third Squad are investigating an assault that occurred in East Garden City.
According to detectives, a 17-year-old male was at the Roosevelt Field Mall, in front of Lush, located at 630 Old Country Road, when he was approached by an unknown male subject. The subject struck the victim with a closed fist multiple times, causing substantial pain to his face, head and back before fleeing the scene on foot.
The subject is described as a white male with short brown hair and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and blue sweatpants.
