Another bank in Babylon Town was robbed, making it two in three days. Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are looking into the most recent incident.

A man entered Flagstar Bank, located at 1501 Deer Park Ave. in North Babylon on December 10 at 12:48 p.m. and allegedly handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the man fled on foot.

The suspect was described as white, in his mid 40s, with a thin build and bald with graying facial hair. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black jacket, and light-colored pants with black shoes.

The description nearly matches that of another suspect who robbed another Flagstar Bank, located at 653 Montauk Highway in West Babylon, on December 8 at approximately 3:45 p.m. Long Island Life & Politics called to verify that the suspect who robbed the North Babylon bank is the same person who robbed the West Babylon bank two days prior. A spokesperson said the case is “under investigation.”

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call Major Case at 631-852-6555.
