Queens Man Wanted by ICE Arrested for Grand Larceny

A Queens man who is wanted by the Immigration and Custom Enforcement has been arrested for grand larceny at a Valley Stream store.

On April 21 at 4:58 p.m., Rammeike A. Campbell, 27, of 108-25 Merrick Boulevard, entered Macy’s, located at 1095 Green Acres Mall. Campbell allegedly concealed merchandise inside a shopping bag and proceeded to walk out of the store without paying for it. Loss Prevention confronted Campbell and responding officers placed him under arrest without incident. It was also determined that he had previously entered Forever 21, also located inside the Green Acres Mall, and concealed various items without rendering payment.

Subsequent to the investigation, it was determined that Campbell allegedly provided police with false information regarding his identity, has an active New York City Arrest Warrant and an outstanding Warrant of Removal pending with CE.

Police charged Campbell with fourth-degree grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, false impersonation and petit larceny. He was released on an appearance ticket and taken into custody by ICE.
