Nassau County police are investigating a commercial burglary that occurred Tuesday morning at a local restaurant on Elmont Road.
At approximately 10:52 a.m. on June 10, officers responded to reports of a break-in at BBQ Nite, located at 667 Elmont Road. According to police, an unknown individual shattered the restaurant’s front glass door to gain entry.
Inside, officers discovered the cash register had been tampered with, though no money was reported stolen. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.
