Nassau County Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a murder that occurred in Hempstead.
On October 5 at 8:39 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call at a Botsford Street residence. Upon arrival, officers located a 29-year-old female in the basement of the home with multiple stab wounds. The female was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
