The First Squad is investigating an Attempted Robbery that occurred in Baldwin.
On November 7 at 1:15 p.m., First Precinct police responded to the Qwik Pick market store located at 2169 Grand Avenue for an attempted robbery. Upon arrival, a 27-year-old male clerk stated that an unknown male subject had entered into the store displaying a black-handled knife and demanded cash. The male victim refused to hand over any money and the male subject left on foot westbound on Brooklyn Avenue. There were no injuries reported.
The subject is described as being male, Black, medium build, 5’11” tall, 220 pounds, white hooded sweatshirt, black face mask, black small bag on a necklace, dark blue jeans, and light-colored sneakers.
