The Nassau County Fifth Squad is investigating a burglary that occurred in Elmont.
On July 15 at 9:00 p.m., Fifth Precinct officers responded to the Town of Hempstead Safety Department, located at 2161 Dutch Broadway, for a Commercial Burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown subject broke a second-floor rear window and entered the building. Further investigation revealed that an iPhone charger and adapter had been removed from the office. The subject fled in an unknown direction.
The investigation is still ongoing.
