The Third Precinct officers are investigating a Burglary that took place in East Meadow.
On June 16 at 4:00 p.m., Police responded to a vacant business which is under construction located at 2565 Hempstead Turnpike, for a Commercial Burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown person(s) allegedly pried open a lock box and entered the building with the key. Further investigation revealed that the subject(s) allegedly removed a commercial floor scraping machine, valued at $60,000 from the premises. The subject(s) fled by unknown means in an unknown direction.
The investigation is ongoing.
